  • The objective of the project was to conduct a thorough feasibility study on the production of polyvinyl acetate in Georgia. The study aimed to evaluate the market conditions, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to polyvinyl acetate production. The project's primary goal was to provide GIDG with valuable insights and analysis to determine the feasibility and viability of establishing a polyvinyl acetate production facility in Georgia. The study aimed to assess the market demand, competitive landscape, and potential customers for polyvinyl acetate products. In addition, the project aimed to identify the necessary resources, infrastructure, and technology required for the production process. This involved analyzing the availability and cost of raw materials, assessing the production capacity and scalability of the proposed facility, and evaluating the required investments in machinery, equipment, and human resources. Through the consultancy, we:

    • Developed a methodology for conducting secondary data research;
    • Conducted in-depth interviews with potential customers and retailers;
    • Studied international best practices for polyvinyl acetate production;
    • Examined regulations specific to export and domestic markets.
