Objective of the Project: To strengthen rural SMEs’ access to productivity-enhancing and cost-reducing machinery by facilitating cooperation between sectoral associations, leasing providers, and machinery vendors.
Solution: Brokered agreements between sectoral associations and leasing providers, supported associations in identifying trusted machinery/technology vendors, enhanced association capacity to advise SMEs, monitored leasing deals, and promoted knowledge transfer across sectors.
Result: Rural SMEs gained access to modern machinery and technologies through leasing services. Machinery providers also delivered after-sales support and maintenance services, ensuring long-term functionality and sustainability of investments.
