The primary objective of the project was to conduct a comprehensive Risk Assessment of the Public Defender's Office (PDO). The aim was to identify, analyze, evaluate, and propose measures to mitigate all the entity-level risks associated with a potential G2G (Government-to-Government) development activity. Through the consultancy, we:
- Conducted desk review of documents and policies deployed in the Public Defender's Office.
- Conducted interviews with the representatives of the Public Defender's Office and other stakeholders to understand the risks associated with the G2G development activity.
- Assessed risks in the areas of entity features, cash management and treasury, accounting and reporting, internal control, and information technology.
- Analyzed and evaluated the identified risks and proposed measures to mitigate them.
