Objective of the Project: Address the ongoing challenges faced by JSC Basis bank, including the systematic decrease in product sales, difficulties in identifying and categorizing corporate client industries, and the unachieved strategic goals of supporting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). The purpose of the assignment was to conduct secondary research and analysis of Basis bank’s clients and products, and to develop an analytical document containing research data, analysis, and practical recommendations for improving products and services.
Through the consultancy we:
- Conducted secondary research and analysis on Basis bank’s products and clients.
- Delivered an analytical document containing research data and findings.
- Developed recommendations aimed at improving and updating products and services.
Solution: The project focused on analyzing Basis bank’s existing products and client base through secondary research. The GEC team prepared an analytical document that identified challenges in product sales and client categorization, and provided practical recommendations. The research highlighted the need to introduce new products and update the existing ones to better align with market demands and support SMEs.
Result: The project enabled Basisbank to identify weaknesses in its product portfolio and client segmentation approach. The findings supported the development of new products and improvements to existing ones, thereby creating stronger alignment with SMEs and enhancing the bank’s overall competitiveness.
