The goal of this consultancy was to enhance MAG’s communication with the public. The activity aimed to systematize the Association’s public relations (PR) and communication practices through institutionalization of effective communication tools and mechanisms. Through the consultancy, we:
- Reviewed MAG’s mandate, organizational strategy, PR/communications strategy and branding strategy;
- Reviewed existing PR practices, official web page and social media profiles and provide recommendations for effective use of communication tools, including social media sources;
- Developed a comprehensive one-year PR/communication action plan specifying target audiences, target media, key messages, practical tactics, responsible managers and staff, and needed resources;
- Provided on-going coaching to MAG’s PR and other relevant managers in implementing the action plan;
- Developed a PR/communication action plan evaluation report based on six months implementation results with recommendations for necessary improvements.
