Pension Agency was established on the basis of the Law of Georgia on Funded Pensions as an independent legal entity of public law. The Agency is responsible for implementation, management and administration of the funded pension scheme.
The Agency operates independently, in compliance with the Constitution of Georgia, International Treaties, Law of Georgia on Funded Pensions, Statute of the Pension Agency, legal acts issued by the Director of the Pension Agency and the National Bank of Georgia, as well as other legislative acts.
